Over the last 2 years, The Illinois Legislative Latino Caucus Foundation (ILLCF), in partnership with Chicago Latinos in Philanthropy and the Illinois Broadcasters Association, hosted its annual Latina Heritage Day brunch in honor of Illinois declaring March 15th as Latina Heritage Day in Illinois.
Over 300 guests attended from different sectors- highlighting the power of bringing Latinas together! From the panels highlighting their paths, sharing stories of their families, their perseverance, and their motivation; the entire room was left feeling a sense of appreciation for what it means to be Latina.
Since this year’s panelist are all influencers or are in the influencing space, we wanted to create a theme
around that. One that also empowers the Latinas in the room and lets them know that they are also influential. This year's theme is Soy Influyente!
